Uncharted 4 Will Make Uncharted 3 Look Lackluster; Naughty Dog 'Quadrupled' Improvements For New PS4 Release

Uncharted 4 will look and feel far more better than its predecessors, new reports claimed.

The highly anticpated 4th and last installment of the popular video game franchise boasts of outstanding and realistic visuals.  And while some are currently not blown-away with the gameplay previews Naughty Dog has released, many are saying that the new game will be awesome on the next-gen console PS4.

But what improvements has Naughty Dog made to ensure the success of the new title?

"According to interviews, Naughty Dog says the game is the best looking of this generation. A quadrupled level of improvement since Uncharted 3. This is all due to what's referred to as rendered detailed surfaces utilizing background LOD algorithms instead of the performance adaptive tessellation. Even Drake's model has been improved with 800 bones in his face alone compared to 250 in the older Uncharted 3 game," Air Herald noted.

"This time the combat system has better stealth and movement, gunplay, and melee due to modified systems across the board including the animation system. Drake gets freedom to swing, climb, rappel due to slip events now based on angle and jump distance as well as fixed grapple points."

Uncharted 4 is reportedly slated to hit shelves by summer of 2015, and new reports are suggesting that it's definitely a go on July 2015.

As Latin Times reported, "Initial speculations suggest that the upcoming "Uncharted" title will not launch until late 2015 as the three previous titles of Uncharted were released between the months of October through December. That said, it is possible that game developer Naughty Dog is applying a new strategy given the massive amount of success they have enjoyed since they released "The Last of Us" in July. Could July be Naughty Dog's ideal release date for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" after all?"
