The Elder Scrolls Online is preparing for a major provisioning overhaul when update 6 is released later this month.

The official TESO site has recently released a guide on update 6, and it has a detailed explanation of what fans can expect.

"Provisioners, rejoice! Big changes are coming to your crafting skill in Update 6. We've reorganized recipes to make them easier to find in the UI, reduced the overall number of ingredients (your inventory will thank us), added new recipes, improved the usefulness of drink buffs, and much more," the site said.

Apart from update 6, fans are also waiting for another major announcement from developers of the game.  Rumors are starting to go around that The Elder Scrolls online will go free to play in the coming weeks.

According to The Mole of Game Debate, it won't be long before Zenimax and Bethesda makes the announcement.

"To cut a long story short, reports are surfacing that The Elder Scrolls Online may be revealed as a free-to-play title within a matter of weeks. It follows on from the removal of six-month subscriptions a little while back, but the move is likely to incorporate both the F2P model and subscriptions, in a similar vein to Star Wars: The Old Republic," the article read.

"The removal of six-month subscriptions is the pre-cursor to this, and I wouldn't be surprised to see current subscribers rewarded for jumping in early with some exclusive trinkets and ranks. Where this would leave the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions I don't know, but I intend to find out. "
