‘The Originals’ Season 2 Spoilers: Rebekah Discovers A Long-Lost Mikaelson Sibling! What Will Happen To Hope?

With Esther (Sonja Sohn) finally dealt with, Klaus and the rest of his siblings have to face danger from their brother, Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) now. But it looks like another Mikaelson will be making her presence known soon. Read on for more "The Originals" season 2 spoilers!

Although no Mikaelson sibling died in episode nine, the siblings are still in so much danger now that Finn has finally snapped.

Kol (Daniel Sharman) is stuck in a house full of very hungry vampires, while Rebekah, who is stuck in a new body (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), is locked up in an asylum for witches.

She will have to rediscover her humanity as well as tap into her powers as a witch.

She also meets a mysterious entity that apparently is her long lost sister. What will Freya's role be as the season progresses? Will she be an ally to the siblings or a threat to Hope? She was, after all, taken by their evil Aunt Dahlia a thousand years ago as payment for her mother's request to bear children.

Executive producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci shared more "The Originals" season 2 spoilers, including how Hope will become a potential danger in the show.

While everyone is trying to protect Klaus and Hayley's daughter, "The Originals" executive producers assured fans that she won't just be a helpless little kid in the show.

"There's something special [about Hope]," Julie Plec told Entertainment Weekly.

"She is a little bit vampire, a little bit werewolf, a little bit witch, so what is she capable of and how will that be explored on our show is stuff that we want to play with and you will see some advancement in that plot in these first batch of episodes," Michael Narducci added.

So what will keep the "unstoppable" Hope from blowing up? According to Julie Plec, "good parenting is very important."

Hope will have a circle of people - parents, aunts, uncles - that will protect and love her.
