'Frozen 2' Rumors: From 'Jelsa' To JLaw, Which Ones Are True?

The House of Mouse has yet to confirm "Frozen 2" but the internet is already abuzz with rumors about the sequel.  What has been reported about the follow-up flick?

For one, Jennifer Lawrence has been reportedly considered for a role. "Jen's husky rendition of 'The Hanging Tree' in Mockingjay Part 1 surprised everyone," an insider told OK mag. "Now execs [at Disney] think she could be the new Kristen Bell."

"She's such a relevant star," the source added. "She'd bring tons of fans to the next film."

And while the sequel's status is still unknown, Disney has already announced a short called "Frozen Fever" to be out this summer.  "Frozen" books featuring Queen Elsa and Anna will also be launched this year. 

A special "Frozen" themed cruise will also be unveiled this summer. "On one special morning, guests will awake to discover a magical freeze has overtaken the atrium lobby with sparkling icicles adorning the grand staircase, resembling the majestic mountain-top ice palace of Queen Elsa," Disney Cruise Line said in a press release.

But why is Disney taking so long with the "Frozen 2" decision?

In an interview published on Hallels, Disney's Bob Iger mentioned that "In order to make the perfect movie sequel, the filmmakers have to write the perfect follow-up story for it. Otherwise, 'Frozen' won't be as good anymore and that would surely disappoint everyone."

And the last and maybe the most impossible "Frozen 2" rumor to date would be the inclusion of Jack Frost in the sequel.  A select fan base have been pushing for Elsa and Jack Frost's team-up to materialize.  An online petition posted on Change.org has been started to convince Disney to make "JElsa" happen.
