‘Jane The Virgin’ Spoilers: Will Gina Rodriguez's Character Give Birth Soon? EP Says Preparing For Season 2 Is A ‘Tricky Tone!’

Following its success at the Golden Globes earlier this month, The CW renewed "Jane The Virgin" for one more season. With several of the story arches seemingly coming to a close already, viewers might be wondering if Jane and Rafael's baby will be making his or her appearance soon.

According to the show's executive producer, Jennie Urman, we will deffinitely see the little tyke before season one ends.

"We're trying to track her nine months, so you'll see a few episodes that jump forward a little bit so we can get as close as we can," she told Buddy TV.

The baby's arrival in the first season doesn't mean that the show's story will come to a standstill. In fact, Urman and the "Jane The Virgin" writer's room already envisioned the events for the second season.

Urman shared that with a show like "Jane The Virgin," she just can't say "'let's do this,' without knowing how it will pay off because it's a tricky tone with so many different storylines woven in."

With that in mind, they have been very careful in planning out the second season.

"Our ending this year kind of takes us through-- I know what will happen at the end of this year and I know what our twist will be at [episode] 13 next year," she continued. "We've had that in the Writers' Room for a while so we can be building towards it."

As for more "Jane The Virgin" spoilers, Urman added that fans can look forward to the great Sin Rostro reveal in episode 12, the internal telenova (starring Jane's father) blowing up soon and Petra's great downfall.

On the other hand, Jane's love triangle with Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and Michael (Brett Dier) will also reportedyly have some more drama.

Urman confessed that she's "endlessly interested" in the said relationship web and promises to "spin and twirl and re-complicate" it to make it more interesting.
