“Childless Comfort” Gets Extension

JTBC's drama “Childless Comfort” has gotten an extension.

Producers from the drama recently revealed that the drama will have an 8-to-10 episode extension.

The drama have been doing extremely good for a cable drama. Normally if a cable drama hits the 2% mark, it is considered a success. “Childless Comfort” have hit the 8% mark, having the record for the highest rating for a cable drama.

A representative from JTBC said that the extension won't greatly change the direction the drama has take. Instead they will add more details and funny scenes. There will be no over-dramatic changes or last minute scripts.

“Childless Comfort” is about the Ahn Family. It shows the three generations of the family who all live together under the same roof. The drama also deals with the only granddaughter of the family that becomes a single mother and faces discrimination from society.

The drama is aired every Saturday and Sunday at 8:50 PM (KST)
