Did Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo get engaged during the Miss Universe 2014 coronation night in Miami?
The "Jealous" singer serenaded the top 10 contestants of the prestigious beauty pageant last Sunday. He first sang "Chains" before going into "Teacher." When he started singing his hit song "Jealous," however, the 22-year-old pop star left the stunning ladies on stage to serenade his girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, in the audience.
Fans of the couple thought Jonas was about to propose to his girlfriend of almost two years and, apparently, so did the lady in question.
"I went down and sang to her and I go on a knee and approached her," Jonas, himself, told British newspaper The Sun last Wednesday. "Her face was in full panic, she thought I was going to propose on national TV in front of one billion people."
It's not like he doesn't want to, either. According to the heartthrob, they're still too young for marriage.
"We're 22 so there's plenty of time to do that," he shared to The Sun via The Daily Mail.
According to E! News, he also told Access Hollywood last October that marrying Culpo would be "ideal" but they're "still quite young and we're going on a journey."
On the other hand, the gorgeous Miss Universe 2012 winner brushed off the momentary panic last Sunday by posting a photo of herself and her beau on Instagram the next day. Although Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo did not get engaged, they still shared their love for each other that night.
She captioned the shot, "Best part of tonight. Being serenaded by this stud."
