Amanda Peet's "Game Of Thrones" first impression wasn't very good, according to the actress herself.

Peet revealed to "CONAN" that when her husband and one of the show's co-creators, David Benioff, pitched the idea to her, she thought it was "silly" and a "terrible idea."

She also compared the show to a game.

"Yes, I thought it was a terrible idea. Terrible. Just silly," she confessed, adding that it was "like 'Dungeons & Dragons' but with real people."

Amanda Peet's "Game Of Thrones" impression drastically changed, however, when she actually started watching the show.

According to the "A Lot Like Love" actress, she is now "obsessed" with the phenomenal HBO series and even refuses to hear any spoilers for next season. She resorts to some drastic measures now that her husband has been putting up storyboards for the next season.

HBO already announced an air date for "Game Of Thrones" and excitement for the show has been rising amongst its followers.

Avid viewers will finally find out what's in store for Daenerys Targaryen, the Lannister siblings, Jon Snow, the Stark sisters and even Oberyn's kin on April 12.

Meanwhile, a leaked trailer for the upcoming season was released online recently, The Verge reported. A fan who went to HBO's IMAX screening of the "Game Of Thrones" finale last Thursday recorded the trailer and uploaded it to Youtube.

The official trailer hasn't been uploaded on Youtube yet and despite the quality of the said leaked clip, it was still able to heighten fan's anticipation for the series.

The new trailer features Jamie Lannister crying in front of what seems to be his father's dead body, Tyrion's journey to find Daenerys, Littlefinger teaching Sansa some life lessons, and the Khaleesi deciding to "destroy the wheel."
