'Community' Season 6 Release Date, Spoilers And The 100th Episode; What Can Fans Expect When Hit Comedy Returns Mar. 17?

"Community" season 6 release date has been slated for Mar. 17.  The hit comedy will premiere on its new home- Yahoo Screen.

Fans are definitely excited to see what changes showrunner Dan Harmon has made on the show considering they're airing the comedy on a different platform.  But despite the changes, as well as the cast, the anticipation is slowly rising months before its season 6 premiere.

Alison Brie , Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash are set to return next season. Paget Brewster and Keith David will be joining the show following Yvette Nicole Brown's and Danny Glover's exit.

Apart from the new cast additions, it certainly looks like fans will have a lot to look forward to this season.  One being the show's 100th episode,

As IGN reported, "The Community cast are filming their 100th episode this week, and I paid a visit to the show's new sets (they had to move to a different lot thanks to that whole cancellation thing) where the Greendale gang were celebrating this milestone and the victory it represents."

Alison Brie and Danny Pudi, who play Annie and Abed respectively, also shared their thoughts about the 100th episode.

"I'm really shocked. it's really against all odds and it's cool. It's pretty exciting. I think that's how we felt even coming back for Season 6. Not a lot of shows even make it to six seasons. That is a feat in of itself," Brie said.

While Pudi said, "Every episode we do, we're shocked we've completed it. We're always like, 'This is the end' - of either the show but also us physically, mentally, and emotionally. I don't know how, in this whole capacity, Dan [Harmon] survives and the show survives."

Meanwhile, previous "Community" season 6 reports also claim that Chevy Chase could return to the show.

"I will be in a small cameo at the beginning of Community and if they ask me to come back and do one or two appearances, it's a possibility,"Chase said in a Reddit AMA.

But how can a dead man return? As fans of the show will remember, Chase's character died on the show after he left the show in 2012.  Some are speculating that should he return, a "fake death" plot could be the easiest way to go about his return.  However despite the rumors, Sony addressed the speculations by saying: "At this time, Chevy is not confirmed to appear in Season 6."
