Some very important "Harry Potter" questions were answered by JK Rowling on Twitter today, enlightening fans about Harry's basilisk encounter, Fluffy's current whereabouts, and some tidbit about No. 12 Grimmauld Place.

The bestselling author managed to squeeze in a question and answer session for fans on Thursday morning.

The Twitter party started with one fan's screenshot of a Tumblr question asking the multi-millionaire writer why the horcrux inside "The Boy Who Lived" didn't get destroyed when he was bitten by the Basilisk in "Chamber Of Secrets."

"The Horcrux-receptacle has to be destroyed BEYOND REPAIR, so Harry would need to have DIED. #pleaseneveraskmethatoneagain," Rowling gamely answered the fan. This opened the door to more questions from other Potterheads.

A Twitter user, @EmyBemy2, asked the "Harry Potter" creator "what happened to Fluffy after he was released into the forest? I hope he returned to Hogwarts for the battle!"

Fluffy was the three-headed giant dog that the Harry, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger had to get through to get to the Philosopher's Stone in the first book.

It turns out he wasn't in the Forbidden Forest as fans initially suspected.

"He was repatriated to Greece," Rowling revealed. "Dumbledore liked to put Hagrid's more foolish acquisitions back where they belong - not the forest."

The last Potter-related question was asked by @CharlsEC.

"Why is 12 Grimmauld place in the middle of a muggle house complex?" He questioned the author.

"A Black ancestor coveted the beautiful house, so 'persuaded' the Muggle occupant to leave & put the appropriate spells on it," Rowling shared.

She also shared that Lancashire was her favorite brand of tea.
