Fans will have a chance to meet and greet Benedict Cumberbatch at the "Sherlock" fan convention at London's Excel centre in April of this year.

Other guests that will visit the convention include show creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss (who also plays Sherlock Holme's brother, Mycroft), executive producer Sue Vertue and production designer Arwel Jones.

According to Radio Times, the convention, aptly called "Sherlocked," is scheduled for April 24 - 26. Tickets are also already being sold, starting from £29 (or less than $50) for a one-day pass at the event's official website.

The VIP pass, on the other hand, is being sold for £2995 (or a little over $4500). According to the official site, this package includes a pass for all three days, signed photographs from Benedict Cumberbatch and the other guests, a "Professional Photo shoot of you on one of the Sherlock sets" and some exclusive "Sherlock" merchandise among other things.

The Platinum Pass, valued at £595 (or about $900), will also give convention goers almost the same privileges as the VIP pass.

Whether Martin Freeman, who plays Sherlock's best friend and sidekick in the BBC series, will join Benedict Cumberbatch at the "Sherlock" fan convention is still unknown. More information about the guests will be announced later on.

Meanwhile, "The Hobbit" co-stars were recently spotted filming for what was assumed to be "Sherlock" season 4's Christmas special. What intrigued fans, however, was the cast's outfit during the shoot.

The Oscar-nominated actor was spotted wearing Victorian-era clothes, suggesting that the special could pay homage to the actual time-frame of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous stories.

Mark Gatiss also posted a vital clue for the next season on his Twitter page.

"We Gingers must stick together...#Sherlock," he captioned a photo of a shop glass front which had the words "Jabez Wilson, Pawnbroker, Est. 1854."

Avid fans connected the post to a particular story from the collection about a redhead being tricked by bank robbers.

This story still hasn't been connected to the cast being seen filming in Victorian outfits, yet.
