Lena Headey Is Pregnant! Father Not Revealed! Which ‘Game Of Thrones’ Co-Star Do Fans Want To Be Her Baby Daddy?
"Game Of Thrones" star Lena Headey is pregnant with her second child! The 41-year-old, who plays Cersei Lannister in the highly successful HBO series, confirmed her condition to People Magazine recently.
"I'm happy to confirm that I'm having my second child this summer," the British actress said in a statement.
Rumors started going around about her pregnancy when she was photographed sporting a baby bump in Los Angeles just last week. Desperate to keep her and her brood's privacy, the brunette beauty finally spilled the good news.
"I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time," she added in her released statement.
Although Lena Headey being pregnant was finally confirmed, the question of who the baby's father is still lingers.
She already divorced musician Peter Loughran in 2013. Although they have a son together, four-year-old Wylie, there had been no news of reconciliation.
In fact, Headey is currently rumored to be more than friends with her former "Game Of Thrones" co-star Pedro Pascal. However, there has been no indication that Pascal, who played the slain Oberyn Martell in the series, is the father.
"Lena is one of my favourite persons. And she is so funny and so smart, such a good person, a good friend and a good mother," the Chilean actor said in a Reddit AMA last year (via Daily Mail).
"I think everyone on that set and anyone who comes in contact with her develops an instant crush," he added.
However, he never confirmed a romance between them.
That didn't stop fans from approving their possible off-screen pairing, however.
"So Lena Headey is pregnant. I am hoping Pedro Pascal is the daddy bc they are OTP," one fan wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, other fans just showered the actress with congratulations and well wishes.
The news comes only two months before the Emmy winning show's premiere.
