Oscar 2015 First Time Nominees: Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emma Stone And More! See The List Here!

Who are the Oscar 2015 first time nominees?

Several artists have been recognized by the Academy for several seasons now. Julianne Moore got her fifth nod this year for her work in "Still Alice."

The uncomparable Meryl Streep, on the other hand, has been nominated 19 times since 1978. She has already won three Oscars and is hoping for a fourth one this year. She's up for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Into The Woods."

However, every year there are several new faces recognized by the prestigious award giving body. These talented actors, actresses, and directors are nominated because of their talent and brilliance in their field.

Some of this year's list includes Eddie Redmayne, whose outstanding performance in the "The Theory Of Everything" already earned him a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for best actor. Up for the same award are Benedict Cumberbatch, Steve Carell and Michael Keaton.

As for the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress category, Rosamond Pike, Felicity Jones, and Emma Stone are some of the fresh faces to look forward to on Feb. 22.
