Mother Monster And ‘American Horror Story’ Season 5 A Perfect Pair! Spoilers Have No Details On Lady Gaga’s Role

Lady Gaga joining "American Horror Story" season 5 came as no surprise, but there are no spoilers yet as to what role she will be playing in the Ryan Murphy series.

Taylor Kinney's fiancée confirmed the news herself via a Twitter video post where a topless Lady Gaga is seen wearing a weird black mask as she slowly turns toward the camera.

She raises up her left hand as she says, "American Horror Story season 5."

Lady Gaga then takes off the mask before whispering, "hotel."

She captioned the video: "Make your reservation now. #GagaAHSHotel."

"For Gaga, the role marks her largest TV gig to date and first series regular scripted gig after multiple appearances on unscripted fare including 'So You Think You Can Dance,' The 'X Factor' and 'American Idol,'" The Hollywood Reporter said.

CNN said that there are no spoilers yet for "American Horror Story" season 5 but the storyline as well as casting are usually announced in March during the PaleyFest.

"Her role also comes after 'Freak Show,' the fourth incarnation of the anthology, featured a number of musical performances by cast members Lange, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters," the website said.

Previously, FX president John Landgraf teased "American Horror Story" Season 5 spoilers to TVLine as he said the series will depart drastically from "Freak Show."

"One of the things I love so much about that is that it can be radically, radically reinvented in terms of tone, setting, period, characters, cast," he said. "I think there's going to be an unusually large reinvention in between Book 4 and Book 5 relative to, say, between Book 3 [Coven] and 4 [Freak Show]."
