New characters will join the new "Resident Evil" video game, "Resident Evil Revelations 2" as Capcom explains several new details regarding the game's online co-op in the PC version.

Bloody Disgusting has posted a leaked photo of "Resident Evil" fan favorite Jill Valentine in the game's "Raid Mode".

The Capcom-Unity website also revealed other characters that are a part of Raid Mode for "Resident Evil Revelations 2," which includes Claire Redfield, Barry Burton, Moira Burton, and Gina Foley.

According to PlayStationLifeStyle.net, the Raid Mode will have 15 playable characters, each with different skills. By leveling up in the game, players can unlock new skills, weapon slots, and skill Points, which can be used to increase their character's stats.

The website adds that two character skills have already been revealed. The "Shield" which lets the character absorb any type of damage, while the "Exploding Bottle" lets character deal with explosive damage to the enemies. Enemies in Raid Mode can also develop their skills as players will have to prepare for high ranking zombies, and monsters.

In other news, Resident fans and gamers alike were angry and disappointed to find out that the online co-op gameplay of "Resident Evil Revelations 2" has been removed from the PC version.

According PC Gamer, Capcom has recieved negative feedback from PC users regarding the removal of the online co-op in the sequel's PC version, while they retain it in the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Eurogamer reports that a representative from Capcom UK made a statetment regarding the situation.

“The PC version of Resident Evil Revelations 2 supports a variety of customizable visual settings and resolutions. The decision to prioritize a single local screen was made to ensure a stable user experience across a variety of different PC settings and devices. Raid mode will support online co-op shortly after launch when a free patch is available for players to download which adds this feature, but the main campaign on PC will only be available to play in single local screen,” Capcom said.

Lastly, the new trailer of "Resident Evil Revelations 2" features the return of Albert Wesker.

As seen in the new trailer, a photo of him is featured but it is not yet confirmed whether Wesker will show up in the main storyline as the main villan, although, several reports claim that he will be included in the Raid Mode's roster.

Capcom will launch the disk version of "Resident Evil Revelations 2" on March 10 to March 13 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
