Rosie O'Donnell And Michelle Rounds Finally Headed For Splitsville As The Former ‘The View’ Co-Host Filed Divorce Papers Citing Irretrievably Broken Relationship!

Three weeks after confirming that the couple had split up,  O'Donnell filed for a divorce from her wife Rounds on Friday, Feb. 27.

According to GossipCop, O'Donnell filed the court papers in New York's State Supreme Court, citing an "irretrievably broken relationship" in her court papers. The papers further reveal that they have a pre-nup, according to People. In the docs, O'Donnell claimed they have been separated since Nov.

TMZ states that O'Donnell made the announcement at the same time she first revealed she was leaving "The View," after nearly five months on the job. According to a Feb. 6 statement, O'Donnell's publicist said that she is leaving the show to focus on her family after her split with her wife, Michelle Rounds last year.

"Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention. This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first," the statement read.

A CNN report at the time revealed that ABC has supported her decision to leave the show.

Talking about O'Donnell leaving the "The View," CNN said in statement that she is an extremely talented star and she comes in every morning filled with ideas, excitement and passion for the show. CNN added that they respected and understood her desire to put her well-being and her family first. At the time, CNN said that they are delighted about the fact that she's still part of the ABC with her upcoming guest appearances of "The Fosters."

"Marriage is complicated, and I've got five kids, four of them are teenagers," O'Donnell said in a video she posted to YouTube. Her four teens are from her relationship with Kelli Carpenter.  In mid-2011, O'Donnell began dating Michelle Rounds, who was 40-year-old executive-search consultant from N.Y. City. On June 9, 2012, the two married in a private ceremony in New York.

Rounds and O'Donnell have been sharing custody of their daughter, Dakota, 2, since separating.
