Fans of ABC's popular political thriller "Scandal" have been on an exciting ride this Season 4. Following Olivia Pope's kidnapping, auction and rescue, future episodes are bound to get even more scandalous.
According to spoilers published on Fashion and Style, a new tragedy will strike Washington D.C. that would require Olivia's service. In Episode 14, "The Lawn Chair" a black father employs the Gladiator's help as he was under the impression that his child has been killed by a white police officer. This is definitely Olivia's chance to get back on her feet and move forward from her kidnapping incident.
"I'm here to help you. I thought we could talk," she tells the father in the promotional video for the episode.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, series creator Shona Rhimes revealed that the upcoming episode will show a different side of Olivia. After the traumatizing kidnapping incident, Olivia originally planned to take a quick breather but based on the "Scandal" Season 4 spoilers, that is far from happening.
Apart from the return of Olivia, fans of "Scandal" are also looking forward to the rumored guest appearance of "Girls" star Lena Dunham.
According to Christian Post, Dunham will have a "short but pivotal role linking her to the OPA." Although her appearance have yet to be confirmed, fans claimed that she had made previous references to "Scandal" in her own TV series.
The website also speculated that Stephen Finch will return to the show, after missing for the past two seasons. It's still uncertain if Finch will be staying for good.
"Scandal" Season 4 Episode 14, titled "The Lawn Chair" returns on ABC this Thursday.
