Benji Madden Looks Cute In Instagram Pic For Wife Cameron Diaz; Couple Keeps Love Alive Despite Distance

Benji Madden is away Down Under with brother Joel for "The Voice Australia" while wife Cameron Diaz is back in LA. But he does know how keep the distance shorter through the effective use of social media, and a puppy.

The Instagram post showed Benji Madden smiling to the camera, looking clean-cut in a cardigan sweater with all his tattoos covered up.

The former Good Charlotte guitarist cradled a pitbull puppy as he captioned the image, "Rule #1 When you're away from home working and you meet a puppy, always take pics to send to Bae."

Bae is a contraction of the words "before anyone else."

One fan commented of Benji Madden's Instagram pic, "he's beyond cute I can't even." It's not clear if she's referring to Benji Madden or the puppy.

Another said, "Cameron gonna be jelly."

"This is the best thing ever," another fan noted.

The couple celebrated their wedding at her mansion on Jan. 5. Nicole Richie (who's married to Benji Madden's twin brother Joel), Drew Barrymore, and Cameron Diaz's older sister Chimene Cain were the bridesmaids in the wedding. The former Good Charlotte guitarist also gave the "Sex Tape" actress a note before the vows.

Benji Madden has been using social media to connect with wife Cameron Diaz while they are away from each other.

The rocker posted on Instagram a photo of Cameron Diaz's name tattooed across his chest. Benji Madden captioned the image: "Thinking bout you  #LuckyMan."

"Hopefully Benji doesn't join Johnny Depp, Heidi Klum, Angelina Jolie, Adrienne Bailon and Nick Cannon, who either removed or covered up tattoos of their ex-loves," OK! noted.

"So what's next for the couple?" the tabloid added. "A baby could be on the way, as the duo was spotted shopping at a baby boutique soon after the wedding."

Cameron Diaz has not responded to her husband Benji Madden's sweet Instagram message, however.
