Sofia Vergara Not Keen On Having Quickie Wedding With Joe Manganiello; 'Modern Family' Star Wants Ceremony To Fit Her Schedule

No quickie wedding for this conservative Latina as Sofia Vergara reportedly claimed that if she's going to walk the aisle with Joe Manganiello, it's going to be in her own time.

"Sofia isn't going to do anything that doesn't fit her schedule. She's telling Joe they can plan a late-fall wedding... at best," said Radar Online.

But even if their timeline for the wedding don't really fit, Sofia Vergara is still very lucky with Joe Manganiello.

"One thing Joe has come around to seeing is that Sofia is a force of nature, and their wedding is going to be on her time, on her terms," the source said.

According to the In Touch Weekly, per Boston Herald, Joe Manganiello wanted a wedding now but Sofia Vergara wasn't having none of it.

"[Sofia] is an expert at postponing weddings. She did the same thing with Nick [Loeb, her ex-fiancé]. She tends to put work before pleasure and wants to promote the hell out of 'Hot Pursuit' [her upcoming film alongside Reese Witherspoon]," the article suggested. "It's definitely causing tension in their relationship. Joe won't admit it, but he's a little concerned about getting her to the altar."

The publication noted that Sofia Vergara earlier admitted that they are already talking about tying the knot:

"We wanted to get married this summer, but Joe will be busy working and promoting 'Magic Mike 2.' We want to get married at a time when we can get away and make time for a honeymoon. So the wedding will probably be later this year," she said.

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello got engaged on Christmas Day last year after just six months of dating. It was also reported that the couple wanted a surrogate, "but the baby will be their biological child, conceived with Sofia's egg and Joe's sperm," said In Touch Weekly.
