Nikki Reed, Ian Somerhalder's Engagement Too Much For 'The Vampire Diaries' Actress Nina Dobrev To Handle?

"The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev is allegedly seething over the whole hype surrounding her ex Ian Somerhalder's engagement to "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed.

The report was published by Celebrity Dirty Laudry, which claimed that Nina Dobrev is faking happiness right now.

"Apparently, more than the fact that Ian has moved on and is rubbing it in everyone's faces, Nina is jealous of all the public attention he's been getting for his new engagement," it said.

The article noted that Ian Somerhalder is getting press after his engagement to Nikki Reed, with the help of good PR.

"Unfortunately for Nina Dobrev, she is not getting the same type of coverage with her love life, and there's really not much she can do about it," the article alleged. "Boyfriends and the active single life of a 26-year-old TV star don't create the same type of buzz or get the same type of media coverage that an engagement in Hollywood gets."
