Josh Duhamel Bonds With Baby Axl As Father And Son Enjoy Santa Monica In Bicycle

Josh Duhamel bonded with 19-month-old baby Axl Jack by biking around Santa Monica beach.

"The fearless youngest looked quite content sitting on the back of his father's mountain bike in his specially designed seat," said Daily Mail. "Looking relaxed, the little boy seemed enthralled as his father whizzed along the coastal walk next to the famed beach."

Baby Axl was also wearing a helmet for safety purposes, just like his father.

"Despite hitting a bit of a hill, Josh did not break a sweat on their rather long journey through Palisades Park," the publication said.

In a Reddit Q&A to promote "Battle Creek," Josh Duhamel weighed in about being a father.

"What surprised me the most about being a father... I would say just the fact that - how quickly they actually develop, and become walking, talking little human beings that are suddenly living with you until they're at least 18!" he wrote.

He also said in another interview that they are looking at expanding the family and give Axl Jack a baby brother or sister.

"She's recording and probably going on tour," Josh Duhamel said of wife Fergie in an Extra TV interview. "And the plan is sometime after that, maybe before. Maybe I can knock her up tonight."

In an earlier interview with Ellen DeGeneres on her show, 42-year-old Josh Duhamel talked about the joys of being a father for the first time.

"He's swimming, he likes to stick his fingers in holes, he loves to pick my nose. He's also defiant. They get to certain age, they like to test you a little bit," Fergie's husband said.

As for changing the diaper of baby Axl, Josh Duhamel said that it was him at the beginning because he had a lot of practice on his two little sisters growing up, "but she really improved her diaper changing skills in the last year."
