Jason Derulo is now back to the dating scene after his breakup with Jordin Sparks, but claimed that he has no specific preference for a partner especially when it comes to her looks.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, the "Talk Dirty" singer revealed that after six months of split-up with his ex-girlfriend, who rose to fame when she won the "American Idol Season 6" at the age of 16.

"I am dating," the 25-year-old singer-songwriter, dancer, and choreographer said.

The two multi-awarded singers parted ways in September 2014, two years after Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks began exclusively dating each other.

"I want somebody that I can talk to and is kind like me and likes to have fun and try new things," the "In My Head" singer told E! News before his "Want to Want Me" music video premiered on Tinder Monday morning.

Despite being vocal about having someone special to talk to, the "2014 Teen Choice Awards" winner for "Choice Music: Star Male" exclaimed that he does not have specific preferences for a girl's looks.

"I really don't have a type. I think when someone is beautiful, it comes in all shapes and sizes so in terms of looks, I don't have a specific type," Florida-born Jason Derulo shared.

Meanwhile, the new "So You Think You Can Dance" judge emphasized that he does not want a girl who always expects lavish things from him.

"I don't like anyone that is too boojie cause I am not that boojie so it does not work if that's the case.I like someone that is smart that I can have an intelligent conversation with and someone that desires to take care of me like I desire to take care of them," said the 2011 BMI Pop Music Awards runaway winner for "Songwriter of Year" and "50 Most Performed Songs of the Year".

While Jason Derulo could possibly be busy dating, his fans and followers still see a lot of him in Fox's dance reality show.

"I never wanted to be a person that breaks dreams. But it is such a positive show and it reinforced the positive side because you send people home but you can send them home with the reason why they are going home and they can go away but then come back the following year much stronger," he explained about why it is important to give honest and helpful criticisms to the up and coming dancers.
