Asus ZenFone 2 Release Date Confirmed On March And June 2015! Top New Specs And Price Details Revealed Online
Good news to all gadget enthusiast as the release date for the Asus ZenFone 2 has been revealed online along with new specs and price details.
According to the Fuse Joplin, the Asus ZenFone 2 will launch this March to several countries such as Hong Kong, France, China and Singapore. The website further adds that the Asus ZenFone 2 will also launch in Canada and Brazil in June.
The Christian Today has reported that the Asus ZenFone 2 is already out in Taiwan with a price range of TWD 6000-9000.
It is worth mentioning that another report from the Christian Post said that the Asus has several variants of of the Asus ZenFone 2.
The first of these is the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 4GB which cost around $285, and $220 for the 2GB variant. The second version is the Asus ZenFone 2 ZE550ML that is around $190, and the Asus ZenFone 2 ZE500CL cost $160.
However, the Fuse Joplin reported additional information regarding the Asus ZenFone 2 ZE550ML and ZE500CL variants. According to the website, the ZE500CL model will cost around $158 without contract, and the ZE551ML version is around $318.
The Asus ZenFone 2 processor is a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 that is clocked at 2.33 GHz making it compatible to a 64-bit architecture, and has the PowerVR Rogue G6430 for graphics, GSM Arena reports.
Two variants of the Asus ZenFone have different screen sizes; the first one is at 5 inches, while the other is bigger at 5.5 inches. Both display can render a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a 403 ppi pixel density.
The Asus ZenFone has a LTE Cat 4 modem that gives out 150 and 50 Mbps download and upload speeds, and internal storage are at 13, 32, and 64 GB. The Asus smartphone's software runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop which will soon run on the 5.1 version, and has a 3,000 mAh battery.
Lastly, the ZenFone 2 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and its front shooter is at 5MP.
