'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 2 Spoilers: Plot Details For Episode 15 Revealed Online! Will 'Hawkeye' Jeremy Renner Appear In The Show Soon?
Good news Marvel fans as new updates and possible spoilers for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2 have been revealed along with a guest appearance of a rumored Avenger member.
International Business Times has reported that the plot details for episode 15 “One Door Closes” have been revealed along with new promotional trailer.
“War comes to Coulson’s doorstep in a way he never anticipated as shocking revelations are brought to light,” the synopsis for "One Door Closes" teases. Judging from the promo below, Bobbi is bringing that war to Coulson, and that “shocking revelation” will be her and Mack’s betrayal," IBT wrote. "Though she convinced her new bosses that she’d be able to keep her cover if she went back to Coulson's team for just a few hours, May (Ming-Na Wen) seems to know that she’s up to something.
Meanwhile, Skye (Chloe Bennet) won’t have an easy time alone in the cabin. She’ll work on containing her powers, but even with Simmon’s (Elizabeth Henstridge) new gloves, she “struggles to control her new abilities.”
Screenrant reports that episode 15 will explore more of Bobbi Morse's (Adrianne Palicki) role in season 2, and her reasons why she joined Robert Gonzales' S.H.I.E.L.D. in the first place.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." executive producer Jeffrey Bell revealed the connection between Bobbi and Gonzales during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"I don’t know if it’s so much how Gonzales shaped her so much as who Bobbi might really be. She came in here having been undercover at HYDRA and then we reveal she has this secret agenda, so in many ways, as a spy, you keep going “who is she, really?” And I think in 15, you’ll get the clearest sense of this is who she is—this is what she believes in, this is why she does the things she does," Bell told Entertainment Weekly.
Bell further adds what kind of impact did Gonzales had on Bobbi during the events of season 2.
"Gonzales is a piece of it, but she comes in with a very clear singular vision of what things are. And there’s a moment in 15 that really defines the direction of her and Gonzales and Mack and a lot of people, that pivots off of her", Bell said. "So I think more than anything, you’ll get a sense of who she is at her core, which I think people will like."
Screenrant reportedly claimed that episode 15 will have reference to Hawkeye in Bobbi's life. Renner previously said that he was interested in finding out more about his character during an interview with them.
"I think there was talk of having some of the guys go up and jump onto the TV show. I remember them mentioning something about that. Um, again, there has to be a good rhyme or reason for it, and, you know, I like the character enough and anything to do to explore him more, I’m always open to it, ’cause he’s obviously not had a franchise of his own to really deeply explore really who Hawkeye is," Renner told Screenrant. "And, yeah, I’ve always liked to explore the guy more. He’s interesting character to me."
