Leaked photos of an upcoming LG handset shows subtle changes, fans might see in what rumors claim is the next-gen G4.
Nearly a year after the South Korean electronics giant, LG unveiled its 5.5-inch G3 smartphone, leaked images highlight subtle changes fans might see in the next-gen G4.
PCMag noted that four photos posted on an XDA Developers forum tip the same flash placement, speaker and back-based power button. Android Central, however pointed out, the phone's top right corner apparently makes room for a stylus or probably an old fashioned antenna.
In one of the images, the baseband version refers to MSM8936 i.e. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 610, a mid-range part rare to feature in any flagship devices, Android Central noted. Also, contrary to the overhauled software design promised by LG's mobile boss, the phone is running the old LG UI 3.
Besides, the leaked images boast some pretty robust bezels, while LG's past two flagships have featured minimal horizontal borders.
Based on the above points, Android Central concluded that these leaked images are of an upcoming LG phone, however not the LG G4.
