Good news Marvel fans as new updates for Bryan Singer's new X-Men film, "X-Men: Apocalypse" have been revealed regarding new characters and rumored cameo appearances.

Cinemablend has reported that director Bryan Singer posted a new photo of the movie's art design in his Instagram account.

Judging by the appearance of the photo, it looks like a giant bird cage that is being shown inside a theatre house as many people are attending the event. What is interesting about the photo is that a person with wings is inside the cage performing, and it is not known whether he is doing this against his will.

Die hard X-Men fans will quickly see that the man with wings is Warren Worthington III a.k.a. Angel. Angel was played by Ben Foster and his character was first shown in "X-Men: The Last Stand". Since the events of "Days of Future", the X-Men franchise has been rebooted as several events in the X-Men film franchise have been changed to fix the continuity issues within its history.

Screenrant has reported that "EastEnder" star Ben Hardy will play the new Angel in film alongside Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Lana Condor (Junilee) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler).

Aside from Angel, Channing Tatum's character Gambit has been rumored to appear in "X-Men: Apocalypse" in post made by Latino-Review insider Umberto Gonzales.

Gonzales claims that at some point in the movie three characters will show up which includes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm's older self (Halle Berry) and Gambit.

Ecumenical News reported last year that X-Men writer Simon Kinberg felt that Gambit's appearance in movie might not happen.

"I genuinely don't know the answer to that question," Kinberg answered. "It's something we are all talking about whether it would be good for Gambit to be in a mainline X-Men movie or he would be in his own standalone movie potentially one day to be able to be in another X-Men movie after his Gambit movie introduces him. I really don't know the answer."

Kinberg further adds, "I don't think there is a hard and fast rule which way is better. I think both ways have worked and I think actually the real question will be is there a role that is strong and specific enough for Gambit in a mainline X-Men movie whether it be Apocalypse or future X-Men movie that would be the right way to introduce the character."

Lastly, there are rumors making rounds that a new line-up of Apocalypse's Horsemen have been revealed online.

According to KpopStarz, ComicBook.com user "BANEofExistence claimed that the new Horsemen of Apocalypse will consist of Wolverine, Beast, Archangel and Gambit.

It was previously reported last year, that a first batch of characters that were rumored to be the Horsemen include Arcangel, Holocaust, Selene and Exodus.

Perhaps this could explain the presence of both Gambit and Angel due to the fact that both characters portray "Death" in the Marvel comics.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will be shown in theatres on May 27, 2016.
