Good news Marvel fans, new details for "Captain America: Civil War" have been revealed regarding a rumored appearance of another Marvel character, and Chris Evan's possible replacement for the role of "Cap" after the film.

According to Screenrant, "Daredevil" star Charlie Cox has explained that chances of his character Matt Murdock appearing in "Civil War" during an interview with IGN.

“I’ve been reading Civil War – and Daredevil does appear in that. And look – again, just to clarify – I have not been called about that. I haven’t been invited to that party!" Cox said to IGN, "But it would be very very cool. Just to be in the background, saying cool stuff every now and then. It would be cool to be with all those guys.”

Cox humorously said to IGN that if he were to appear in "Captain America: Civil War" he wants to fight alongside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), although it might be awkward.

"Black Widow's an ex-girlfriend of Matt's. So...that would be awkward," Cox said.

Superhero News previously reported that Captain America will lead a new Avengers team after "Age of Ultron", and its members consist of Black Widow, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Vision and War Machine.

Its interesting to see which side will Daredevil choose in the movie as Marvel fans are still wondering which hero will join Iron Man's cause now that "Cap" has his own team. Perhaps this could be Daredevil's chance to join him?

"The big-screen Civil War will reportedly not rely on secret identities to drive the plot, but Daredevil has far more to offer the film than simply the possession of an alter ego. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes may be facing galactic foes like the Chitauri and global threats like Ultron, but Daredevil would demonstrate that the plot of Civil War affects not only the larger scale heroes – it will also impact those working on the street level," Screenrant wrote.

In other news, several rumors are making rounds that Anthony Mackie might replace Chris Evans for the mantle of Captain America after the film.

Mackie explained his side of things during an interview session with The Windy City Live .

"Well, you know there are many incarnations in the comic book, and we are now going into the Civil War. So, if you look at it in the comic book, Cap gives Bucky the shield, Bucky gives it back to Cap, Cap gives it to me… Then Bucky goes off and marries Black Widow, so I keep the shield, give it back to Cap, and recently Cap wanted to be old, so he gave me the shield back and now I got the shield; I’m not giving it back,” Mackie told The Windy City Live.

In the current Marvel Comics, Mackie's character Sam Wilson a.k.a. Falcon is the current Captain America after Steve Rogers lost his powers. Could the same thing happen to him after the "Civil War" film?

"Captain America: Civil War" will be shown in theaters on May 6, 2016.
