Perrie Edwards cozies up to Zayn Malik while on a holiday with his family in France.

A photo of the Little Mix member and the former One Direction hottie cuddling up at Nice airport was published on Daily Mail.

"Making their way out of their car and grabbing their luggage, 22-year-old Zayn was seen tenderly resting his hand on Perrie's back," said the report. "The Little Mix singer was sporting her preferred bohemian chic style as she wore wide-brim brown hat and round reflective sunglasses."

The British tabloid said that Perrie Edwards was also wearing the engagement ring that Zayn Malik gave to her.

Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik's relationship came under fire when he allegedly cheated on her when One Direction performed in Thailand. The whole controversy was pointed out as the reason why he quit the band.

In explaining his decision, the 22-year-old released a statement which read, "My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life claimed that quitting One Direction was the best decision for Zayn Malik and their engagement, at least from Perrie Edwards' perspective.

The source alleged, "Perrie didn't really realize the extent of Zayn's problems until he came back home after quitting One Direction. He really was quite fragile, and mentally shot to pieces about fame, fortune and everything that goes with that. But on their holiday in the south of France, she's been telling him that leaving 1D was the best thing he could've done for himself. If he had stayed, the consequences could've been a lot worse."

"Perrie's been reassuring Zayn that everything will be ok. She says they should concentrate on trying to live normal lives. She's been his rock through all of this and has really stood by her man," the article added.
