From the audition process to the wrap-up party, k-dramas and k-movies have provided the start to many a celebrity relationship.
Sometimes sparks start to fly at the audition.
Son Soo Hyun, the actress who played Min Ga Yeon in the drama "Blood" and director Lee Hae Joon, recently announced that they are dating. According to her agency, MBN Star, the model-turned-actress, 27, has dated the 41-year-old director for the past two months.
The couple met at more than one audition. Besides her role in "Blood," she has appeared in the film "Mad, Bad, Sad." He's the director of the films "Like A Virgin," "Castaway on the Moon" and "A Hard Day," but it's not known whether they met at film or drama auditions.
Sometimes celebrity couples have to work together for a while before deciding to date.
Actor Jang Dong Gun, who appeared in "A Gentleman's Dignity," first met his wife, actress Ko So Young on the set of the 1999 drama "Love Wind Love Song." The couple dated for 11 years before marrying in 2010.
Former S.E.S. singer Eugene met her future husband Ki Tae Young on the set of "Creating Destiny" in 2009. They married in 2011 and had a daughter in April 2015.
"Kill Me Heal Me" star Ji Sung and "I Hear Your Voice" star Lee Bo Young met on the set of the 2004 drama "Save The Last Dance For Me." She was not sure she wanted to date an actor. When he said he would give up acting for her, she fell in love. The couple married in 2013. They are expecting their first child in April 2015.
Han Ga In, who starred in "The Moon Embracing The Sun," met her husband "Mask" star Yeon Jung Hoon on the set of the 2003 drama "Yellow Handkerchief." They married two years later.
"Wonderful Mama" star Lee Chung Ah starred in "Flower Boy Ramen Shop" with Jung Il Woo and Lee Ki Woo. In the drama she chose Jung Il Woo but in real life she is dating Lee Ki Woo.
And no matter how promising they seem, k-celeb relationships don't always work out.
Yoo In Na, who starred in "My Secret Hotel," met "Angry Mom" star Ji Hyun Woo when he played her time-traveling boyfriend in "Queen Inhyun's Man." The two dated for a while but broke up while he was serving his mandatory military duty.
Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young met on the set of "City Hunter" but only dated for a few months before breaking up. Now he's dating Suzy Bae.
Song Hye Kyo met Hyun Bin on the set of the 2009 drama "Worlds Within." Although they made a picture-perfect couple they broke up in 2011.
Lee Sang Yoon, who starred in "Liar Game," met "The Joseon Gunman" star Nam Sang Mi after they appeared on the set of the 2010 drama "Life is Beautiful." They dated for a few years before breaking up.
And Kim Bum, Lee Sang Yoon's rival in "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji," met Moon Geun Young on the set of that same drama. The couple went public with their relationship right away and dated for about six months. They broke up but remained friends.
