Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff News: 'The Bachelor' Host Chris Harrison Leaves Message For Season 19 Couple

Fans of Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff were devastated after finding out the couple has split up. "The Bachelor" season 19 winners have called off their engagement and has decided to go their separate ways.

In a recent interview with Hallmark Channel's "Home & Family," "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison shared that he was "sad" when he found out about Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff's break-up.

"I was really sorry to hear this morning that Chris and Whitney had ended their engagement," he said.

"[Chris] went on to do 'Dancing With the Stars' and moved back to Iowa, and I thought they had given it a go and were going back together but apparently not."

"I wish them the best."

As Kdramastars previously reported, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff released an official statement, announcing their split.

"Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement.  They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends.  They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey," it said.

It has long been rumored that Chris and Whitney have called off their engagement and was only staying together for the sake of publicity. "The Bachelorette" producers reportedly talked the couple out of announcing their break-up publicly as it could ruin the reputation of the reality show. But now that Kaitlyn Bristowe's life is taking the spotlight, ABC network execs reportedly were more comfortable about letting the secret out.

Several reports claim that the cause of the break-up was Chris Soules incessant cheating. The farmer from Iowa allegedly got involved with his "Dancing With The Stars" partner Witney Carson. It was said that Chris' constant flirting bothered Whitney since she already had trust issues coming from a broken family.
