Stage and screen star, Ji Chang Wook, recently traveled to the United States for his first promotional activities in North America. The actor arrived in Los Angeles, California to attend the launch party for the utilitarian streetwear brand, Konus Brand.
On June 2, a stylist for the label posted one of the shots from his pictorial for the company on her Instagram account (@daxla). The photo was accompanied by the message, "Ji Chang Wook for Konus Brand."
Ji previously announced his attendance at the event through a June 1 Instagram post. He will appear at the private launch for Konus Brand, which will be held on the Line Hotel on June 4. He is attending the event as a representative of Asia.
Konus Brand recently launched their online store. Other celebrities who have been spotted in the brand include Korean hip-hop vocalist, Jay Park.
Ji Chang Wook will also participate in other photo shoots while visiting Los Angeles. He recently completed his appearance in a revamp of the stage performance, "The Days."
The 27-year-old actor transitioned from the stage to screen performances in 2006. His breakout role was in the KBS drama, "Healer," has led to increased attention. His on-screen presence also yielded several pictorials and opportunities to attend fashion party, including his appearance at Dunhill's recent Hong Kong event.
Although, he continues to gain popularity in Korea, he has amassed a large Chinese fan base. He has more than 2.1 million followers on Weibo and recently appeared on the mainland China variety show, "Happy Camp."
On June 20, he will embark on his first Asian fan meeting tour. The tour will begin in Hong Kong before making stops in Taiwan and Japan.
