Micromax listed a new budget smartphone dubbed the Canvas Fire 3 on its official site and it's also available online via a third-party e-retailer.

One of India's most popular smartphone manufacturers, Micromax just listed its Canvas Fire 3 A096 on the company's official site. Fresh from the launch of Canvas Knight 2, Micromax added the new Canvas Fire 3 to its range of affordable smartphones.

Despite no official announcement made by Micromax, the device is also available via third-party online retailer for Rs. 6,499 (about $101).

The Micromax Canvas Fire 3 comes with a dual front speakers and it sports a metallic finish, which will definitely attract music buffs that prefer non-plastic body, Gizmodo noted.

The Canvas Fire 3 guarantees to give music buffs their daily dose of much as they play their favorite tracks on the Dual Front Firing speakers of the device.

As far as pre-installed apps are concerned, the device comes with a array of amazing apps including Reverie apps, Truecaller, Snapdeal, M! Security, M! Insurance, Games Club, Clean Master, Hike, Swift Key, Opera, M! Games and M! Live.

Micromax Canvas Fire 3 A096 exhibits a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 540x960 pixels and in terms of protection, it features Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor along with 1GB RAM under the hood and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

Micromax Cavas Fire 3 comes with 8GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device also includes a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 2MP secondary camera, and video playback and recording option, according to records on India Today.

Micromax Canvas Fire 3 features an 1,850mAh battery which provides up to 7 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.

In terms of connectivity, the device include Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, A-GPS, and Bluetooth options along with sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensors.
