In "Mask" Joo Ji Hoon learned about the memory fabrication surrounding him. He learned the truth through Soo Ae's help and so started the revolution against Yeon Jung Hoon.
On the 11th episode of SBS Wednesday/Thursday drama "Mask" broadcast on July 1st, Choi Min Woo (played by Joo Ji Hoon) let it be known to Min Woo and Byun Ji Sook (played by Soo Ae) that he had been suffering from memory fabrication this whole time.
Until now, Min Suk Hoon (played by Yeon Jung Hoon)'s threats had immobilized Ji Sook. Ji Sook knew that Suk Hoon was planning to kick Min Woo out by making him seem like a mental health patient. Knowing this, he didn't allow him to eat the medication.
In addition, he wanted to stop Suk Hoon who had been attacking him. Instead, he wanted to help Min Woo by captivating the hearts of the family members. Ji Sook first showed that she was going to threaten by first showing Suk Hoon committing murder and then showed that she would threaten those that had been threatening her family. This was very refreshing to watch on part of viewers as she looked extremely refreshed to gain revenge.
