Seo Woo And Do I Seong Call It Quits

The relationship between actress Seo Woo and actor Do I Seong, also known as In Gyo Jin, has ended and it's not something they can keep quiet about.

It can be hard for popular actors and actresses to date, as everything they do is news. It's news when they are seen together, news when they go public with their relationship and news when they break up. Seo Woo and Do I Seong certainly tried to keep their relationship private. Even after the couple was first spotted at a café together they did not want to dish on the details of their relationship but rumors prompted full disclosure.

So, it's no surprise that the news of their breakup was issued in a statement by both their agencies this week.

According to the joint statement, "It is true that they are no longer together. It has been a month since the break-up. Since the reason for their breakup is part of their private lives, we can't confirm the details but we heard that it was due to differences in schedules and personalities."

That would pretty much cover the reasons in any celebrity couple's breaking up. Or any couple's break-up. But at least the actors don't have to share the specifics of these details.

Seo Woo and Do I Seong met on the set of the SBS drama, "When Tomorrow Comes" and dated for over a year. Fans were surprised when the relationship initially went public as the two actors played roles that had little to do with each other.

Representatives for the stars said they would now concentrate on their careers. Do I Seong, who most recently appeared as Kwon Suk Cheol in "Horse Doctor," is now reading scripts for new dramas and films. The actor previously appeared in "I Need Romance" as Hang Jung Min, in "Happy Ending" as Lee Sung Hon, and in "Queen Seon Duk" as Kim Yong Chan.

It was not the best year for keeping his private life private as it was also revealed earlier this year that he is the son of a wealthy family. Although Do says he is proud of his father, who owns a prominent company, the actor has not advertised his background. He made his debut through MBC's network talent search in 2000.

Seo is taking a break from her role as Kang Yi Gyung in Glass Mask. She played actress Baek Soo Bin in "Flames of Ambition" and played Goo Hyo Sun the younger sister to Moon Geun Young's character in "Cinderella's Sister."

Seo made her debut in the film "A Day With My Son."
