"The Rock" star Dawyne Johnson and Liam Neeson appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show on Tuesday to read defaming tweets from Net users. Dawyn Johnson read some harsh words about himself on the show and it was a reminder that no one is safe from the ire of the internet, said People.

"Tonight we invited three famous people to read some of the real terrible things people have written about them," said the host, reported EOnline. "Rather than showing a video montage of stars reading out the tweets, he invited to them to do it live on ABC's late-night show."

"I'm really sick of seeing the rock..blah blah blah dqayne johnson..blah blah blah ... movie star..blah blah blah...," read one comment . But Johnson remained unperturbed and retaliated to the tweet.

On the other hand, Liam Neeson was discontent from the Internet user tweets. He shrugged and walked off the stage when he read one of the hate tweets "Liam Neeson is a butterfat," reported People. Bette Midler took to her hate tweet as a compliment.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on ABC and is one of the most popular shows on the channel. Kimmel usually pre-records the stars reading tweets. However, he will be bringing them onto the show live to read fan critiques for the rest of the week. He said twitter is an easy place for people to say nasty things to each other especially to famous personalities, reported The Wrap.

He also went to the audience to find viewers who admitted to have written nasty tweets to famous people. One of the women in audience admitted she was a huge "scandal" fan and had written hate tweets to Scott Foley.
