K-celebs often become friends when working on the same drama or playing in the same band but some friendships go way back, starting when they were students.

No Min Woo and Kim Jae Joong are a good example. Many people think that they met when they debuted under SM Entertainment. Kim was a member of TVXQ and No was in the band TRAX. No left SM in 2006 to pursue acting. Jaejoong left in 2009 to become a third of JYJ.

But the two knew each other long before their debut. In a recent interview with bnt, No talked about their friendship.

"I was really close with JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong even before my debut," said No. "He′s a good hyung whom I′ve been close to since I was in middle school."

They still hang out when schedules permit. When Kim Jae Joong celebrated his 29th birthday in January, No Min Woo was there. No recently appeared in the comedy "My Unfortunate Boyfriend." Kim's last drama before enlisting for his two-year mandatory military service was "Spy."

Lee Min Ho and Jung Il Woo grew up in the same neighborhood and have been friends since middle school. Although they moved in the same circles in high school, they  grew closer following a 2006 car accident that they were both involved in. Lee had a long steel pin inserted into his leg and recovery took seven months. He thought about a lot of things during his recuperation and friendship was one of them. The two stay in touch and discuss their acting careers and projects. Lee will soon film the k-movie "Bounty Hunters." Jung's last drama was "The Night Watchman's Journal."

EXO's Xiumin and Infinite's Dongwoo were both born in 1990.They have been friends since they started high school. Although they debuted under different male groups and different entertainment companies, actor-singer Xiumin and rapper Dongwoo have maintained their close friendship. Xiumin can soon be seen in the web drama "Falling for Challenges" with co-star Kim So Eun.

Big Bang's T.O.P. and G-Dragon grew up in the same neighborhood and have known each other since they were in middle school. They would often dance and rap together. Although G-Dragon moved away, they reunited when YG Entertainment was scouting members for the band. But then G-Dragon has also known Taeyang since they were thirteen.

When I first met Youngbae, he wasn't somebody I could just pass by," said G-Dragon in an interview with the media outlet Asiae. "I thought to myself, 'Who is this?' We quickly grew close. We have opposite personalities so we have never fought, even to this day."

T.O.P.'s last acting role was in the film "Tazza: The Hidden Card." Big Bang is currently on tour.
