The "Avengers" actor Chris Hemsworth has become super skinny for his role in the movie "In The Heart Of The Sea" losing abundant of weight taking only 500 calories a day.

The 32-year-old actor who used to look super handsome has reduced insanely about 15 Kg for his upcoming movie "In The Heart Of The Sea." Hemsworth allegedly took only 500 calories every day in the place of 2000 to 3000 calories, a man of his physique should consume for healthy living.

The actor who shared a photo of him in Twitter after rigorous weight loss noted that he wouldn't recommend the diet to anybody. He also called his diet as "Lost At Sea." "Just tried a new diet/training program called "Lost At Sea". Wouldn't recommend it," Hemsworth captioned the photo along with "In The Heart Of The Sea" hashtag, according to AJC.

The incredible looking Thor that transformed into a starving sailor for the movie revealed during his conversation with KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O that during filming they felt like they would pass out any second.  When Jackie told Hemsworth that his Twitter photo looked like Tom Hanks in "Castaway" the actor responded that he felt that he looked much like Saddam Hussein coming straight out of the bunker hole, reported Mail Online.

"It's funny you mention "Castaway" because we called up Tom Hanks and he gave us some advice on how to lose the weight," said Hemsworth. He added that "Don't eat," was the advice that Hanks gave them which he funnily added a "Pretty straight-forward" one.

"Looking back, it was essential to doing the story justice. It was based on true events which inspired Moby Dick to be written," said the actor when Jackie asked him how he could manage to do his acting while starving insanely. "There wasn't a lot of acting required for those last couple of weeks," he added since starving itself played the role for him.
