Nearly five months after announcing a separation, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have put their divorce on hold, according to Grazia magazine's latest issue.

"It seems both Ben and Jen have decided that, for the time being, it's unnecessary for them to enter what could potentially be a messy and lengthy divorce battle," an insider told the British magazine.

"Because they're in therapy they are still living together as friends, to avoid more upheaval for the family," the source added.

The two had earlier announced in June that they were divorcing each other after 10 years of marriage. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner got married in October 2005 and they are parents to three children named Violet, nine-year-old, six year-old Seraphina, and three-year-old son named Samuel.

There were rumors of Ben cheating on Garn er. He was said to be having an affair with his children's nanny Christine Ouzounian, which he denied.

However, it appears now that Garner is trying his level best to settle things out as the actor wants to rekindle his relationship with Ben for the sake of their kids.

There are even reports which suggest that the couple is planning to adopt kids.

"Ben and Jen have been talking for weeks about their marriage, and they have agreed that as many problems as they have had - and there has been plenty - they need to focus on their children," an insider told the National Enquirer according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

The source also revealed that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are planning to adopt a set of newborn twins and that they will be announcing the same sometime next month.

Ben and Garner will also be spending the holiday season together with their kids, reported iSchoolGuide.
