Caroline Wozniacki's Ex-Boyfriend Rory McIlroy Now Engaged To Current Girlfriend?

Rory McIlroy has remained mum over the rumors that he got engaged to girlfriend Erica Stoll in Paris.

The rumors of a proposal started when Caroline Wozniacki's ex-boyfriend posted a photo of the Eiffel Tower on his Instagram along with the caption, "Bonjour! #jesuisparis."

The comments were immediately flooded with congratulations as the report of Rory McIlroy being engaged to Erica Stoll surfaced.

"Engaged to the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful girl inside and out! Nicely done! She deserves the best," one fan wrote.

"Congrats Rory! Hope ur personal life will be more settled so u can enjoy playing golf again!" another said.

Another fan, however, expressed his confusion how others can jump to conclusion over a photo of the Eiffel Tower. "Not sure how a picture of the Eiffel Tower turns into fury assumptions of an engagement but maybe I'm wrong," the fan wrote.

Belfast Telegraph reported, "When the world-class golfer ended his relationship with ex-fiancee Caroline Wozniacki - in a 10-minute phone call after claims that the tennis player had become a 'bride-zilla' - McIlroy was reported as being in no mood to settle down and was linked to a string of beauties, including Irish model Nadia Forde."

According to the article, friends were not at all surprised that Caroline Wozniacki's ex-boyfriend Rory McIlroy was already engaged to Erica Stoll.

"She's a really, really nice girl," the publication's source alleged. "Very nice and down to earth and the one thing everyone is saying is how good she is for Rory. I wouldn't be surprised if they do tie the knot. You know the saying 'when you know - you know' [you've met the right person] and I think Rory is there now."

To date, Caroline Wozniacki has not yet reacted on the news that her ex-boyfriend, Rory McIlroy, is now engaged to his current girlfriend, Erica Stoll.
