Kimye Engagement: “Kardashian” as Middle Name, Kim Kardashian to Take Kanye West Name (Photo/Video)

Reality star, Kim Kardashian is set to take Kanye West’s name as soon as they got married.

In what could be the most shocking news for her momager, Kris Jenner, Kim announced that she’s taking West’s name as soon as they are pronounced husband and wife.

Speaking to E! News, Kim asserted her plans which her mom may not be so thrilled about.

"I will," Kardashian was quoted as telling E! News while celebrating her 33rd birthday at Tao, Las Vegas over the weekend.

As if to prove her love to her new fiancé, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” star emphasized that there will be no hyphen in between her last name and married name, West.

"Kim Kardashian West, no hyphen. Make it [Kardashian] the middle,” Kim added, according to LA Times.

Kim is following the footsteps of her sister, Khloe who also took her husband’s name, Lamar Odom. Khloe officially calls herself, Khloe Lamar Odom.

As for the wedding, the celebrity couple confirms report that the wedding may be happening soon and Kim noted she leaves everything up to her fiancé.

West proposed to Kim on Oct. 21 at San Francisco’s AT & T baseball stadium. The rapper presented her with a 15-karat, Lorraine Schwartz rare, diamond ring. Kim and Kanye have their first child together, North West, they call, Baby Nori.

This is going to be Kim’s third wedding, while first for Kanye. The two, who started out as good friends, became romantically involved in April 2012.
