“X Factor USA” Season 3 Ep. 15 Recap: Carlos Guevara Eliminated; Teen Admits He’s Not Surprised? (Photo/Video)
Carlos Guevara was among the bottom three on week 13, episode 15 of “The X Factor USA” held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013. The 16 year-old from Lexington, SC failed to show off his vocal prowess on the re-do performance held Thursday, Nov. 7 following the online voting gaffe suffered by the Fox reality singing competition.
As his name was announced to be the first casualty before the show even began on first night of this week’s episode, Guevara’s elimination did not come as a surprise to the teen crooner, let alone to the millions of audience of the “X Factor.”
Speaking to Zap2it after his elimination was declared at the beginning of the performance night Wednesday, Guevara admitted feeling not being too popular especially on social media.
"People weren't as excited about me in the competition on social media," Guevara told Zap2it when interviewed backstage.
He pointed out not knowing however, what his fate would turn out to be on the “X Factor,” noting he is trying his best not to feel bad about being voted off.”
Guevara added, “I didn't really know what to expect, but it happened. I am trying my best not to feel bad about it."
Following his eliminations, twelve of Guevara’s fellow TXFU hopefuls sang for America’s vote and online voting was announced shortly after the last act performed. The contestants gave everything they got since two more acts will be eliminated by the end of the week.
