On February 27, TV Daily reported that the singer-actor announced the surprising news at his online solo concert, "Words I Want to Say."
Revealing the bombshell news, he tells fans, "I made a decision to walk through my future life together with the person who stood by me during the most difficult and hard times."
Continuing his message, he expressed his deep gratitude to fans who have shown him support through the years.
Moreover, he says that he is "sincerely grateful" to all his supporters "for staying quietly by my side during my darkest and most difficult days."
Lastly, he mentioned that he took the opportunity to share the news as he "embarked" on the second half of his life.
Kim Hyun Joong's Agency Reveals Details to the Upcoming Wedding
Following the singer-actor's announcement, his agency, Henecia, revealed details about the forthcoming celebration.
In a statement obtained by local media outlets, the talent label shared that the couple "has decided against holding a ceremony" due to the surging health crisis.
Moreover, Kim Hyun Joong's agency also urged fans to refrain from spreading "excessive speculation" about the couple as their "precious relationship began during a difficult time and are now taking their cautious first steps toward their shared life together."
