Former celebrity couple, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have finalized their divorce, two years after they announce split and one year of legal proceedings.

Citing a report by the Associated Press, USA Today said that the Los Angeles Court, through Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon, has put an end to the couple’s marriage and has been finalized Tuesday, Nov. 26.

The news was first reported by TMZ.

The gossip website noted the statement made by Kutcher’s divorce lawyer, Laura Wesser.

Kutcher, 35 married Moore, 51 in 2005. They don’t have children together but the couple stayed together until 2011. The “Two and a Half Men” star filed for divorce in December 2012. The court proceedings took the divorce one year before it was finalized.

USA Today noted that there has been dispute over money in the divorce proceedings. It will be recalled that Demi had been outspoken as to what she wanted from Kutcher, which included renovation of her apartment.

The former celebrity couple is known for their fascination to selfies and they have been tweeting each other while in their respective spaces, sharing sweet-nothings to the delight of their followers on Twitter, including “race to the bedroom.”

Kutcher has been seeing his former “That 70s Show” co-star, Mila Kunis.
