Despite his status in the Hallyu industry, Jung Woo Sung gets praised for his exceptional fan service while promoting his new movie "Hunt" with Lee Jung Jae.

According to an outlet, the actor was on the stage promoting his comeback movie with fellow lead star and director at the Megabox Mokdong store in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.

Interestingly, one person caught his attention and began addressing her as "jagi", an endearing term in Korean that means "honey" or "darling."

The video has gone viral with netizens lauding the award-winning star for his heartwarming gesture to a fan.

 

The fan recalled the remarkable experience with the "Hunt" star and was stunned by how Jung Woo Sung called her.

As obtained by the outlet, the fan wrote "Ha... Today I was so tired due to following them from Sangam to Mokdong, so during the last showing, I was just yelling and not even filming when Jung Woo Sung oppa-ajussi all of a sudden said to me, 'Regardless of the fan prize, you (jagi) come out here.' I was re-energized that instant."

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the 49-year-old star made headlines because of his endearing actions while doing promotional activities for his movie.

It can be recalled that a netizen shared his experience in an online community after meeting Jung Woo Sung.

In the post titled "Jung Woo Sung took my Mentos" the person shared that the renowned actor accidentally took the candy while shaking his hands.

"I went to say hello on stage today and on the way home from work, Mentos was just in my pocket, so I was holding it for fear that I might shake hands."

As the post went viral, Jung Woo Sung's agency, Artist Company released a statement apologizing for the incident.

Moreover, in the video, Jung Woo Sung held the Mentos candy and was looking for the fan who handed it to him.

"When I was shaking hands with someone when I was greeting the stage in Daegu, he held the Mentos in his hand and held my hand tightly.," he explained, adding "I apologize for causing the Mentos theft incident unintentionally. I'm looking for the owner of Mentos. Please contact me."

'Hunt' Scores Major Achievements a Week Since Release

The espionage action movie is Lee Jung Jae's directorial film and his first project since "Squid Game."

In addition, "Hunt" is also a reunion project between him and Jung Woo Sung, 24 years after the 1998 movie "City of the Rising Sun" premiered.

Following its successful release, Lee Jung Jae and Ju Woo Sung's movie was also released in 144 countries.

On top of it, "Hunt" also reached 2 million viewers since its theatrical release on August 10.
