‘DP 2’ Cast: Go Kyung Pyo to Reprise Role in Jung Jae In, Goo Kyo Hwan’s Series
After his special appearance in season 1, Go Kyung Pyo might reprise his role in "D.P 2."
The 32-year-old star will possibly join Jung Hae In, Goo Kyo Hwan, and more in the much-awaited sequel.
Go Kyung Pyo to Possibly Return in 'D.P 2'
According to a report cited by SpoTVNews, Go Kyung Pyo reportedly took part in recent filming.
As of this writing, Netflix and the drama officials are yet to confirm if the actor will reprise his role.
However, if the reports were true, Go Kyung Pyo will be making a comeback as Corporal Park Sung Woo, a deserter who appeared in "D.P" episode 1.
Apart from the actor, "Love and Leashes" star Lee Jun Young and Won Ji An of "A Year End Medley" also made a special appearance in the Netflix series.
'D.P 2' Cast, Release date, and What We Know So Far
Helmed and written by Han Jun Hee, the same person who worked with the first season of "D.P." the upcoming sequel was officially confirmed in May 2022, after the success of the 2021 series.
At the time, Netflix announced to its official social media the returning and new cast members joining the forthcoming season.
"D.P 2" cast includes Jung Hae In, Goo Kyo Hwan, Son Seok Koo, and Kim Sung Kyun.
In addition, the hit military-themed K-drama also confirmed the appearance of additional lead stars.
Ji Jin Hee of "Designated Survivor: 60 Days and Kim Ji Hyun from "Thirty-Nine" will be joining the group as new characters.
In the new season, Jin Ji Jee took the role of Goo Ja Woon, the head of the legal department at the Army Headquarters.

On the other hand, Jung Hae In will return as Private soldier Jun Ho and will be working alongside Corporal Han Ho Yul as they are both assigned to track down the deserters.
As for the 40-year old actress, she portrays Lieutenant Colonel Seo Eun, the Ministry of National Defense Prosecutor's Office chief operations officer.
Currently "D.P 2" is continuing with production and is slated to hit the screens in 2023.

The 32-year-old star recently wrapped up the season for his rom-com K-drama "Love in Contract" where he played the role of mysterious yet adorable Prosecutor Jung Ji Ho.
In the drama, he hired Choi Sang Eun's professional service who is posing as the client's wife. The interesting character is played by none other than Park Min Young,
Apart from it he made his comeback as the lead star of Disney+ series' connect with a reunion project with Jung Jae In as well as fellow lead star Kim Hye Joon
Interestingly, as for his big screen project, he appeared in back-to-back films. First is "Decision to Leave," followed by the comedy movie "6/45" and Netflix's "Seoul Vibe."
