‘Taxi Driver’ Season 2 Teases Viewers With Pyo Ye Jin’s Surprising Character

Pyo Ye Jin is back as "Taxi Driver" season 2 is approaching with a more intense and death-defying missions, along with the whole crew of Rainbow Taxi group.

Based on the popular webtoon "The Deluxe Taxi," SBS released more still cuts for the much awaited sequel with a mix of new and returning characters including the 30-year-old actress.

Headlined by Lee Je Hoon, the action drama series showcased the special mission of Rainbow Taxi Group headed by the CEO Jang Sung Chul played by Kim Eui Sung and Kim Do Ki as they avenge victims that the law failed to protect.

SBS Hints at Pyo Ye Jin's Character Development in 'Taxi Driver' Season 2

The broadcast network continues to tease viewers with intriguing teasers of "Taxi Driver 2," featuring the lead stars of the revenge K-drama.

From Lee je Hoon, to Kim Eui Sung, SBS dropped still cuts featuring Pyo Ye Jin's character as Ahn Go Eun.

In the first season, she appeared as the tech expert of the group. It was later found out that her sister was a victim of harassment. Due to her rage, she joined the secret organization to get back at the people who were behind her sister's misery.

Now, with a new season of the SBS drama, Ahn Go Eun returns with a completely different role.

As seen on the teaser, she became a police officer, raising speculations that Ahn Go Eun left Rainbow Taxi.

However, in the second still cut, it featured her being greatly agitated by the familiar yellow taxi in front of her.

What to Expect in 'Taxi Driver' Season 2?

Slated to air on February 17, 2023, "Taxi Driver 2" airs every Friday and Sunday at 10 p.m KST.

The 16-episode series will be available via SBS.

As for the highly-anticipated season, viewers are yet to see an intense crime drama with new cast members.

While Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram return as lead stars, the upcoming season also welcomes Shin Jae Ha as a new cast member. He will be portraying the role of newbie driver On Ha Joon.

On the other hand, the production team praised Lee Je Hoon and shared that the actor did his very best for the sequel "based on his special love for the 'Taxi Driver' series."

Moreover, the team also hints that viewers will get to see "even more complete and high-quality season than Season 1," adding that the sequel will have "much more memorable action sequences and a variety of even more amusing performances."
