Kang Ki Young To Possibly Star In New Film With Koo Kyo Hwan
On May 12, it was reported that the "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star Kang Ki Young has been cast to star in the brand new film "New Humanity War: Resurrection Man."
It's an action film helmed by "The Beauty Inside" director Baek Jong Yeol that depicts the story of an ordinary man who discovers his out-of-this-world ability to resurrect three days after his death.
Koo Kyo Hwan recently confirmed to headline the film, taking on the main role. In response to the reports, Namoo Actors, Kang Ki Young's agency, released an official statement.
According to the representative from the company, Kang Ki Young received a casting offer for the film and is currently reviewing it with a positive heart and mind.
Kang Ki Young enjoyed blockbuster success for his performance as a lawyer in the smash hit drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" last year, which earned him the nickname "Office Daddy."
If he ever accepts the offer, the film marks his second project with Koo Kyo Hwan who made a cameo appearance in the ENA drama.

Kang Ki Young is booked and busy this 2023 as a slew of multiple projects is coming!
As of this writing, the actor gears up for his television comeback with the second installment of the popular fantasy series "The Uncanny Counter" with Yeom Hye Ran, Kim Sejeong and more.
In Season 2, Kang Ki Young transforms into the strongest villain named Pil Kwang. However, broadcast network tvN hasn't released any details about his character yet.
Despite that, he's expected to showcase his diverse acting prowess in the series. In addition, Kang Ki Young will also star in the forthcoming melodrama film "Our Season."
