Kim Tae Ri On Choosing 'Revenant' As Comeback Drama

In the new horror series "Revenant," Kim Tae Ri transforms into a strong vessel for evil spirits.

She plays the role of Goo San Young, a young woman who tries to escape her destitute situation by working part-time while studying for her college entrance exam.

Kim Tae Ri gets possessed by the devil, taking over her life. Interestingly, the premise appealed to the actress more than any other work she has done before.

Since it deals with folklore and ghosts, Kim Tae Ri didn't hesitate to accept the offer for its fresh and never-done-before narrative. In addition, the drama also boasts rich and perfectly helmed stories.

The actress also stated that she wants to offer an occult work, a genre barely used in the Hallyu scene, amidst the influx of romance comedies and historical fiction series.

Thankfully, Kim Tae Ri is able to give life to both characters, thanks to her impeccable skills and years of experience.

"I focused on the character who I play in a certain situation," Kim Tae Ri shared. "I internalized their differences a lot and the results came naturally."

With this, anticipation for the work is doubled. Kim Tae Ri even hyped up the public by saying that the chemistry between her and seasoned actor Oh Jung Se is the main point of the work.
