Go Min Si Reveals Doing THIS Transformation For ‘Sweet Home’ Season 2

Go Min Si shares an interesting story about her new hairstyle and what made her cut off her long hair for "Sweet Home" season 2.

The South Korean actress stars in multiple projects this year. Besides her big screen comeback after joining Smugglers," she is reprising her role as Lee Eun Yoo in the upcoming Netflix series.

During her interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, the actress talked about her preparation for the much-awaited sequel.

Go Min Si Shares Hair Transformation for 'Sweet Home' Season 2

The actress revealed an update regarding the highly anticipated "Sweet Home" season 2.

According to Go Min Si, they have "safely finished filming for seasons 2 and 3" of the Netflix series.

As mentioned, she continues to play Lee Eun Yoo, the younger sister of Lee Eun Hyeok, played by Lee Do Hyun.

On the other hand, as part of her preparation for the role, Go Min Si said that she had to cut her hair for a change.

She revealed that she is satisfied with her long, dark hair and used to keep it at that length for a long time. However, she wanted to "change a little bit" and chopped off her hair for the upcoming project.

"At that time, I was filming 'Sweet Home' 2 and 3. I cut my hair short," she said, adding that she initially found it "awkward" because she is not used to seeing herself in short hair.

Interestingly, she managed to get a hang of it and "gradually got used to it."

"I like short hair much better now," she said, showing off her sleek, straight short hair.

As seen on her Instagram, Go Min Si has been rocking the short hair trend for several months now. The first time she posted a photo of her with chopped hair was for Dazed Korea's December 2022 issue, where she surprised her followers with a new hairstyle.

Go Min Si Choses Melodrama Over Rom-Com & Thriller Projects

Besides the brief update regarding "Sweet Home" season 2, Go Min Si expressed her likeness to do another melodrama.

When asked which one she preferred between a rom-com or thriller project, the actress said she "wanted to try a melodrama" again.

"These days, I want to film a melodrama, so I'm waiting to be able to greet you through a good melodrama character," she explained.

To recall, Go Min Si headlined the hit melodrama series "Youth of May," where she stars alongside Lee Do Hyun. This is their reunion project after "Sweet Home," but they played me-against-the-world lovers.

Currently, her movie "Smugglers" is gaining positive response from the public, racking up over 3.5 million viewers since its premiere.
