In a report, "My Dearest" episode 10 ended with a success as the historical K-drama landed an all-time high in viewership.

As recorded by Neilsen Korea, the last episode garnered an average nationwide rating of 12.2 percent. The K-drama also took first place in its time slot across all channels.
'My Dearest' Part 2 Release Date
After a month of broadcast and 10 episodes, "My Dearest" wrapped up the first with a successful ending and is scheduled to return with a second part.
Following a cliffhanger ending, "My Dearest" part 2 is slated to air in October; however, the exact date and details are yet to be confirmed by MBC.
'My Dearest' Episode 10 Recap
After Yoo Gil Chae's shocking discovery in episode 9, she found herself making a sudden decision after seeing Lee Jang Hyuk.
Lady Yoo thought that he died in the battle after Officer Goo Won Moo mentioned that the man that she was looking for had died.
Initialy, Yoo Gil Chae turned down Officer Goo's proposal and decided to live alone with her family, but what changed her mind was when he saw how Goo Won Moo cared for his father.
Seeing this, Gil Chae slowly warmed up to Goo Won Moo and eventually accepted the proposal.
As the day of their wedding drew near, Gil Chae saw Ryang Eum, one of Jang Hyuk's men. She confirmed if the rumors were true that Jang Hyuk had died, but instead of telling the truth, Ryang Eum said that he died in pieces.
Shortly after, Gil Chae saw a familiar face in the crowd, and he turned out to be Lee Jang Hyuk himself.
The duo had a heart-to-heart conversation and explained what happened between them and how she ended up marrying someone.
Lee Jang Hyuk asked Gil Chae to leave with him, to which she agreed. However, Goo Won Moo asked his men to locate his fiancee, believing that she might be kidnapped by the intruders.
The next day, she found herself returning to the village to check on her father. She saw him wandering around the woods and spoke about her plan to leave.
At this point, Gil Chae was surprised that her father acknowledged her plans and said not to worry about him and their family.
The unexpected twist came when Yoo Gil Chae returned and chose Goo Won Moo, leaving Lee Jang Hyuk waiting for her at the dock.
In the last scene, it featured Simyang years later, after the incident between Gil Chae and Jang Hyuk.
The young master crossed paths with the masked man, hinting that it will be part of the upcoming continuation.
